What is this?

The Data Section will provide all relevant info about MHP3rd semantically linked together. It is fed by a database which I try to populate steadily.
The current content is based mostly on Bobofango's amazing Wiki.
By clicking on one of the language flags you can change the translated content to one of the released official and patched languages.
Big Thanks to Bobofango and VioletKIRA for their translations.
TeamHGG and Vuze for patch translations.
Bazzurd for helping me with the quest data.

    It says it’s based on bobofango’s wiki, but aren’t all monster’s hitzones written down on gamefaqs already?
    I don’t know if it’s correct or anything.. but i’d rather check the hitzones from RotR than have to go read the FAQ ate gfaqs.

    hey guys how do i fight deviljho i finished the elderquest but i didn’t fought it :( ( do i have to clear all of them??

    ZackZackyZackerMH3rd you need to complete all other village quests from 1* all the way up to 6* before the arena quest for deviljho, nargacuga and tigrex will appear in 6*.

    From using the information here I’ve made myself a little confused:

    After a few test runs with the hammer I am unable to make the Rathian stagger with 150 damage to the head. This is the village Rathian without it being in rage.

    Using the Japanese wiki I found the ‘type’ values for the MHP3 hammer and using the later hit of the super pound and the upper cut (from charging the hammer) equated to 157 damage. ATP[185] x TYPE[1.16] x SHARPNESS[1.05] x [HITZONE]0.70 = 157.73. Yet no stagger.

    Am I missing something here or is some of the data (type or hitzone) wrong?
