- Kill 10 Yian KutKus and this quest will appear on the list.

- Kushala Daora’s quest randomly appears in the 4* list after you obtain 5000 or more Guild Points.
- Lunastra and Chameleos’ quests randomly appear when you unlock your 5* quests.
- Teostra’s quests randomly appear when you unlock your 6* quests.

- Kirin quests randomly appear in your 5* quest list after unlocking it.

yea ive defeated the akantor in nekohts(meaning ive done the double raths), i just havnt done the 2 diablo quests and the elder dragons(but thell be easy). in the 8* (hunter rank 6) ive done everything i think it would require to get the gold medal. except i havnt actually KILLED the white fatalis, just made him flee twice. its really hard to defeat an armor mode whitey on my own. got any tips for fighting him?
im hr 9 at the moment, i just havnt done any quests in g*** apart from yama and shen gaoren.
use heavy bow gun, with 3 capacity clust lvl2 shots. and bring the dragon claws and medium bone husk to make lvl 2 clust, this way you will have quite a few clust 2′s with you, i think its like 50 claws you can carry. then just got at it.
cheers ill try that just need to get some gunner armor; i only ever use duals,SnS and sometimes hammer. wouldnt he just kill you 1 hit though? hes painful enough while youre in blademaster armor! i want to get his armor, ive got the headpeice but itl be real hard to get like all the webbings n stuff.
For gaoren I use Dragon X and Fatalis Buster.
I have it gemmed for emboldened, capacity up, bullet limit, evade+2 and recovery speed down.
Takes like 15 minutes.
I don’t recommend using cluster spam past low rank, and yama takes 35 minutes to HBG even with emboldened.

For white fatalis that does work, but a decent gunlance can do the job just as fast, but cheaper.
What’s wrong with being cheap? As long as you get the job done as I always say.
how do you unlock Crimson Fatalis?? I beat the black fatalis and cleared all training school quests, all guild hall regular quests and all but 3 guild hall plus quest, all lvl 7 G quest, and all offline quest. i dont know what im doing wrong i pawn the urgent black fatalis, but Crimson doesnt want to appear on my quest list. Help Please
crimson? in the hard rank (hr6) u unlock him by killing like 2 of every elder dragon excluding crimsaon and whitey. g level i dunno havnt got him yhet. the yama heavy bowgun is like real good,ill use that on whitey once i get enough mellanje ore. ive got puppet master armor now so im almost there.

is using full rathalos soul armor and the imperial gunlance better worse than using full kirin and full voltage?
and wat level for rathalos is it esiest to get a plate? 2, 5, or 7?
I’m not sure about the first question but I do know the higher the rank the more likely to get plates/rubies/heavenly scales. (I’m saying 7 would be your best bet)
Hey i am hr7 ( tryin to get full akantor armor and weapons before i try to get to hr8) and i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on slaying akantor as fast as possible. I hav full tigrex s armor, carbalite sword+, ceanatuar head axe, dragon demolisher, fire dragonsword, black cannon, and a few other weapons i cant remember. Any way i can solo fatalis easily, ( havent tried crimson fata yet), and kill near about any monster below hr6, a few on hr7. Well, what are some good weapons, armor, and skills to use against akantor, and can anyone list some good tactics, too. Thanx in Advance.
Akantor and uka both: Bring a decent hammer and upswing combo it when it turns.
Then go to town on it’s head when it KOs.
Like 15 minute akky kills with end game stuff.
When trying to get akantor armor akantor isn’t your problem it’s the high rank gravios that get annoying

akantor: so simple with silver sol and azure ogre SnS. i got the akantor stuff easy but yes the gravios are super annoying while trying to get the brainstems off them. capture the gravio is your best shot at getting a brainstem

i just beat my, like, 6th narga, and now i just got the hidden ones (the BEST high rank dual blades ever, i reccommend upgrading them to ebony wings as soon as possible as i just repelled a high rank shen gaoren on my first time)
and now back to my point, does offline 9 star quests considered G rank, or high rank? and how do I beat the land of tremors quest (2 high rank tigrex) i need to get to hr 6 and i need to kill them for my offline thing, and what is a good weapon for killing the rajang for nekohet (the level 9 one in the volcano, not the 2 rajang)
and are rajang considered low rank if i do the final invitation, because all of the weapons are rarity 7 or 8, and thats high rank rarity
The Rarity Scale For Rankings:
1-5: Low Rank (white, green, or pink)
6-8: High Rank (blue, orange, or red)
9-10: G Rank (yellow and purple)
For the Rajangs I used icicle daggers and it was fairly easy. And for the 9 star Nekoht quest the only g-rank one is the monster hunter quest.
the monstee hunter quest is G rank??!! awww thats real sucky. i dont reckon ill beat it! ive only got 2 rare 10 weapons both thunder atribute and yama armor. does anyone know what materials you need for the sword saint peircing? i want to get it realy badly because i saw this video and the dude had like THE PERFECT armor set with it and other peices.
yeah, the sword saint piercing and the silence piercing are the best piercings in the game, i just gemmed my soul rathalos armor to have high grade earplugs, but every other time i get hit, I almost die!
and does any1 no a good idea on how to get a kirin thunder tail so i can upgrade my eager cleaver!? ive killed 5 kirin’s outside of training and have only gotten 1 thunder tail!!!

and if you get the hr6 fatalis quest, heres a good set to use, full obituary S and the ceantar head axe hammer, i only hit it lke 5 times and used other weapons and i repelled the fatalis!
and wats a good weapon and armor set for white fatalis (the dowload quest the big daddy is white fatalis, not black)
@ 12 year old you get the ssp from doing all the special trainings (not g-rank)and to get the barrage you do all the normal trainings.
@ Dragonlord seth if you have susano blade or centenarian dagger (susano makes it a lot easier) do the nekoht kirin quests, I find I get more tail if I hit the tail but that might be wrong. For the akantor quest I would say something with sharpness +1 then get the hidden breaker, I used black belt for my akantors until I got a better sharpness +1 set. An easy way to take out white fatalis would be a powerful gunlance (popcorn or something) and any armor you think has good gunlance skills would suffice. But if you want to be a real man take the hidden breaker (or anything better) and any armor set you think looks nice (because if you aren’t higher than hr6 you’ll probably die if you get hit once) and do it that way.
i need the tail though, and i got the kirin tail
and for the monster hunter quest, do u get G rank materials?
oh yeah, ur not allowed to do any fatalsi quest uless ur hr6
from the monster hunter quest yes you get G rank materials
akantor is easy just get a decently powered armor set( preferably above 64 defence) and bring a weapon with A good sharpness B strong power or C loads of dragon attribute and just hit and whack (depending on what weapon) it to death. if you still struggle, watch a guide to learn all its very SLOOOOOW moves. ukanlos would pretty much be the same just have stronger stuff.
cool, then I won’t have to kill yamatsukami to get G rank tigrex, and I don’t have to kill another akantor after i get dark akantor and akantor katana, but I probobaly will…
i have another question, I’ve killed 3 akantor, all for nekohet, but I haven’t gotten akantor info, the file, or the ecology, do I have to do the Akantor quest for the guild in order to get those things, but I did get the blood onyx (th award for slaying an akantor)

Never again.
25 G-rank chameleos later I had the dragon jewels, as well as like 25 chameleos jewels (worthless).
Argh.
At least I matched mazereons G-chameleos solo record.
@Dragonlord Seth, yes you need the hr6 guild Akantor quest to be able to buy the info.
@DynamicMute, isn’t it easier to get the dragon jewels by killing Teostra? (If it isn’t then I wasted a lot of effort.)
chemelos are easier to kill than all other elder dragons (except for low rank kushala daoras, i can solo kill one in 15 minutes, as long as its in the jungle, and i use fire dragonsword, i cut its tail, broke its wings, and its head)
and for chemelos i can kill it in about 40 minutes (i whale on it for the first quest and kill it in the second quest) if i use wyvern blade “blood” of course, maple, silver, or glory would be better (silver is silver rathalos, and glory is G rank silve rathalos)

and now whats the best way to get gravios brainstems (but 2 and 2 together, ive killed several akantors, and i need gravios brainstems)
The way I got my Gravios brain stems in MHFU was the dual Black Gravios in the old volcano quest, I would get at least 1 per quest.
I got my Gravios brain stems from H-rank gravios tails. You can carve twice and its still easier than waiting for it in the reward. Don’t think I can stomach hitting two black gravios’ stomachs five times. lol. Akantor’s set is real tough to create. BTW, how do I unlock H-RANK Daora and the rest of em dragons?
@RyuuM21, I believe you get the high rank elder dragons by doing all the high rank epic quests, I’m not 100% sure though, but it’s worth a try.

hey guys! you unlock the high rank daora and lunastra quests (for offline) by doing all of the 7 and 8 star non epic quests, and chemelos and teostra’s quests by doing all nekohet non epic quests. you unlock offline azure lao by doing all 7 and 8 star epic quests, once you have all of those quests done, you should have all nekohet quests except for 9 star epics, once you do those, you unlock the monster hunter quest
and DAMNIT!!! silverkatana116 from fanfiction.net and the wiki said the same thing, i just want 4 more brainstems for the armor!

and no, really there’s a 12%(pretty good) chance of a brainstm from an H-Rank Gravios tail. Black Gravios have lower chance on tails and higher on rewards. Just cut it off, carve twice and get killed if you want. Still easier than Los rubies. [:P].
Los rubies are fairly easy… Compared to how they used to be in mhf1. Making full silver sol took sooooooooooooooo…oooooooo…oooooooo… long…
By which I mean each different Los/Ian had a different ruby i.e. rathalos ruby, azure rathalos ruby, silver rathalos ruby etc.

Gem Obituary X for HGE and evade+ 2.
Bring the yama HBG and pellet the tail.
To dodge the charge the trick is to start rolling before it starts running.
Oh, and in case you don’t get what I meant… ONLY attack after you dodge a charge unless you’re feeling confident. Bad things happen when you get greedy, especially since a rage mode charge hit against Obituary X gunner is a OHKO. If it digs make sure to run in a wide arc and weave back, he tends to really broadcast it if he changes direction, so sheathing helps since you can do the flying dodge. And don’t stand under his tail. FFS people, use some sense.
You could also take a GS to his ass… Don’t literally shove a greatsword up his ass though, It doesn’t work out well… But anyways, take a GS and be super cheap about the whole fight and keep doing full charge hits on its tail. Fight will most likely be long, but rather easy. If you’re not feeling bold though, go with DynamicMute’s advice, there’s definitely at least one video of it on youtube.
the annoying part about blos is that their tail stub (after you cut it off) is the weakest part.
i just beat that quest with my brother and girlfriend, its really annoying, i just used the Copper Blangonga longsword (the final upgrade), my bro used frozen death, and my GF used the G rank blangonga light bowgun, i dont remember what its called, only that it fires freeze shot with rapid fire. i go after one of them while my bro guards my gf while they fight the second. she would shoot its tail with crag shot right before it went under.
flash spamming it is the guide, i broke both horns and cut its tail and enraged it twice before i ran out of flash bombs.
we just killed Uka, i never thought that the regulation gunhammer would be so useful against somethign other than shen gaoren (i can solo a low rank one in 15 minutes)
I’ve yet to fight an Akantor on my own, but I’m wearing full Basarios X and wielding the Juggernaught hammer… the only weapon I’ve got that even comes CLOSE to G-level damage… 1404, purple sharpness, +10 defense… my set comes with +30 def, and is gemmed for Quake Resistance (for Lao/Gaoren) and Divine Protection (love it). Currently working on the Rathalos Soul Z set… stupid heavenly scales…
