VI.A. OFFLINE (1* – 6*)
VI.A.1. Yian Garuga
- Kill 10 Yian KutKus and this quest will appear on the list.
VI.A.2. Ancient Dragons
- Kushala Daora’s quest randomly appears in the 4* list after you obtain 5000 or more Guild Points.
- Lunastra and Chameleos’ quests randomly appear when you unlock your 5* quests.
- Teostra’s quests randomly appear when you unlock your 6* quests.
VI.A.3. Kirin
- Kirin quests randomly appear in your 5* quest list after unlocking it.
VI.A.4. Final Invitation (2 Rajang in Arena quest)
- This quest requires that you clear ALL your lower offline elder quests (1* – 6*) for it to appear.
- Beating this quest grants you the option of changing your S/X/Z armor details to rainbow colors.
VI.A.5. Shen Gao Ren
- I see this asked a lot. Clear your 6* elder urgent quests and this quest will appear. See Section I.

- Clear the quest above (Shen Gao Ren) and this quest will be available to you on your 6* quest list.

VI.B.1. Queen Vespoid (Help! I can’t find her!)
- Kill 30 Vespoids and she will appear in Area 6 on the map.
VI.B.2. Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian
- Have a total of 100 or more wyverns killed. These include Yian Kutku, Yian Garuga, Hypnoc, Gypceros, Rathalos, Rathian, Basarios, Gravios, Diablos, Monoblos, Khezu, Plesioth, Cephadrome, Volcansioth.
- Not included are the apes like Congalala, the shelled ones like Hermitaur.

VI.B.3. Ancient Dragons
- Kushala Daora and Lunastra’s quests will randomly appear after clearing all normal (NOT EPIC) quests on your 7* and 8* list.
- Chameleos and Teostra’s quests will randomly appear after clearing all normal (NOT EPIC) quests on your 7*, 8* and 9* list.

what is the best weapon and armor set for the monster hunter quest
help! (for 3 things)
1: i’m stuck on the 4 horns quest (diablos and black diablos), wats the best armor and weapon to use!!!
2: i’m trying to get the first guild urgent quest (kill the blangonga) but it wont appear on the list, plus i’ve already done the blangonga quest from the guild, help!
3: I also need to know how to get more expand pickaxes! ive only gotten to first one and i need more to complete my combo list!

Bring a decent hammer and work his face when he lands against the ledge, but be careful if he just puts his face up, as he can 1hko you.
It takes me 25-30 minutes tops, but a friend of mine claims to kill it in 15 with the final upgrade of eternal eradicator. (GS)

Another easy way to kill yama is to use the c. blango decimator, it’s relatively easy to make and it’s powerful you just need RA to get rid of the -10% affinity.

thanks for the advice, it worked now i am hr 8 and need to do one more quest(gravios)and then i can fight the Ukanlos
sup guys, i kinda gave up on the elder quests, and now im doing the guild quests, im stuck on the shen gaoren quest (oh yeah, at the beginning of it there is a video, if you skip it, shen will do an acid blast that almost 1-hit-KO’d me, run into the camp to avoid it)
i failed with the injector cannon and now im trying the grenade launcher heavy and light bowguns, respectivly)

I just finished puppetmaster shin (Gunner armor, I gemmed it so it has sneak, guts, rapid bow up, dragon res. +5 and the flute skill.
Incredible!
I use it and the uka bow to break every part on a G fatalis in round one.
Also: 3 more strong wings ’til I get Dragon X!

If you must, though..
Learn where the nerve in his shell is, and fire pierce shots through the shell, to where the nerve is.
Make sure the point of impact is 3-6 rolls away, it does 50% more damage.

For the uka I’d use either of these sets;
Naruga x, gemmed for focus, evade distance, and evade+2, since you’ll need practice dodging his swim, and this set helps, also bring deep darkhammer, and it’ll take 30 minutes, tops, if you land an upswing every time he turns or lands(After roaring or tunneling).
Or: (After, obviously)
Ukanlos armor, with sharpness, quake resistance, whatever else…
And bring imperial gunhammer spark for a clean sweep, fast as hell.
I used dark akantor armor on my first ukanlos because that was the best armor I had/have.

i beat it with dark akantor armour cus i could not get narga X, i think i got VERRY lucky and i got the uka sword.
Hey i was wondering if there was any way to solo HR9 Shengoeren (I dont have anybody to do it with), I have Full Kirin X and i prefer LS. My strongest Long sword is the Divine fire blade, 1296 base attack with a 220 fire attribute.
It’s possible to solo anything.
I use dark akantor gemmed for RA+3 and sharpness+1 and imperial gunhammer spark or khezu flute G.
Just remember to not stagger it’s legs unless it’s about to hit the fort.
I killed at least 10 of each elder dragons (including fatty and lao) and cleared crimson fatty (even killed it several times), but hr6 white fatalis quest is still locked :/
What should I do then ? (playing on mhfu)
If you’ve killed 5 of each elder dragon and 3 lao and 3 fatalis and it’s still not there you may have to do the epic quests, I don’t know because I had the epic quests done before I unlocked white fatalis but you could try it anyways.
I was so pissed when I did “Pride on the line”, killed diablos in like 8 minutes, gravios took 20, then naruga kept throwing spikes and killed me.
40 minutes wasted.

the same thing happend to me in the 3 masters of the volcano
lavasioth=about 8 minuites
terra cean=about 15 minuites(died once)
rathalos=dead(died twice)
Nice speed on the volganos!
They’re my weakness.
It takes me up to 30 minutes with a hammer, because I run away too much..
That U-turn is sadistic.
Note: all the epic hunting quest monsters have between 3200 and 3900 hp, as opposed to 6500 to 8500 regularly.
And I am dreading the G-rank download white fatalis next week.
No way can it be soloed.
G training quests to unlock fatalis
please help
The only hard aspect of G-training is having to kill a ssj G-rajang to unlock it.
But use a decent armor set, and abomidable bow II to make it easier.
Tips for G-training (The ones that are hard):
Volganos: Turtle it, takes forever, but it works.
Daimyo: turtle it too.
Congalala: use duals and attack his tail only.
Shogun: use a HH, keep the buffs up and evade alot, attacking is less important, evasion is key.
The rest are easy, but I can give better tips if you tell me which one you can’t do.
(To clarify, you don’t need to clear the ssj rajang quest for all the training, just the last one, which is required to unlock fatalis.)
hey guys! i beat the shen gaoren quest a while back (oh yeah, with shen and lao in the fort, u have to kill them by area 4, because they will leave if they get to area 5 and theyere about to die)
now im stuck on the lao shan lung quest (ash lao to be precise) ive used black twin daggers, black bow 1 (ps, wats the esiest way to get elder dragon blood, i need it for my kusha body armor), grenade launcher, and injector cannon, im using full caentar armor for the blade master, and full obituary for the gunner (oh yeah, wat skill increases my sharpness by 1, sharpness or artisan?)
For ash lao I used a hammer (narga or onslaught)on his back feet so I knock him down a lot and the armor I use is dark akantor but if you can’t get that I’d say get ceanataur U or S whichever one gives artisan and sharpness so you have sharpness +1 and sharp sword. And artisan gives Sharpness +1.
Don’t try to gun a lao early on, even glorious victory II (Rarest bow in the game) takes effort to kill a lao.
I use a hammer (I use dragon demolisher G) or a longsword (I use the G-upgrade of the black scythe) and work his stomach nonstop.
That tactic will kill a G-ranked lao with ten minutes left, so use the best weapon you have and it should get you through.
i finaly did dual black diablos Quest, i looked at weapon calculator and made tigrex longsword, i killed first diablos in 12 min
I’ve switched to using HBGs only for a while.
I’m still practicing, but I beat a few peoples hammer times for some monsters (14 minutes or so on a G-rank rathian) with practice, I’ll get better.

ok, 2 things (again)
i was wrond on the shen and lao by area 4 thing, oh yeah, i beat the 4 horns quest, i used the blango decimater long sword, caught the normal diablos and killed the black 1 with 7 minutes to spare, oh yeah, i also cut off both tails.
and fighting shen gaoren in the town is esier than in the fort, mainly because it stands still more (i killed it 3 times with the dead revolver hammer)
and i beat the normal lao with the black twin daggers, and the ash one with the duel dragons (the upgraded form of the black sword, u need 3-5 dark pieces, 2 lao shells, and 2 dark stones) i watched a video where 2 guys killed the ash lao with bows (i later found out that they were akantor bows)
i need help beating the multiple congalalas, shogun, and blangonga quests, i just want to get to the nargacuga quest.
on a different note, does any1 no a cheat code that can let me do 1 hit kills and 1 hit tail cuts and a thing that i dont need to make a monster’s life living hell in order to capture it.
how do u get red lobster blade because ive beat the game and now i want to clear all the quests.
Been slowly upgrading and killing… G* quests are difficult, but not impossible. Takes time and persistence to kill a G* monster alone if you’re new to G* quests. I myself am new to them and I just wasted an Emerald Congalala with 6 minutes to spare…
Was using Blacksmith, 4/5 Basarios X and Gravios U Gauntlets. I brought enough potions and whatnot to keep an army alive and ended up using more than 50% of them! These monsters are tough indeed, but after you get used to their attack patterns and attack ranges, you’ll be alright
ive cleared all nekoht quests apart from the diablos’ and silver sol and golden moon double quest. how do i beat the diablos???!!! ive tried heaps but i keep losing. im using yama armor fully upgraded and festive rustling rain. i had a good day and bet half of nekohts 9 star quests with that set b ut the diablos are annoying me soooo much
PLUS how do i get the gold medal? ive killed every thing(all the fatalis’ aswell) apart from 1 horned diablo,and 3 epic quests.is there another quest that you unlock?
