Weapon Paths
Again, thanks to Verminthrax, I’m able to put up nicely layouted weapon paths for MHF2. So if you don’t like the table layouted trees at SoC, here’s your alternative.

could you please put some pix next to the name of the weapon,so MHF2 beginners can see what they want their weapon to be like or look like?
Thats a good idea, but might encourage only getting the coolest looking weapon, instead of the best

The bow doesn’t really have a tree.

on one of the hammers its required kut-ku fang? its next to the kut ku hammer + i think, anyways i just thought you should know

Theres a couple of mistakes I think you could change. On ancient grtswrds it has Weathered grt sword, which does not have the required items. (I no its just earth crystals) and on grt ruststones, the tarnished grt sword says the sharpness is white (Which it obviously is not)
We don’t have the bow paths. And you are correct about the two minor errors. I’ll forward them to verminthrax, though I’m not sure if he will fix it.

hey dark aka123, I’m a massive noob and did the gravios and black gravios with full kirin and Devil Slicer. here’s a trick, barrel bomb the living shit out of him for the normal one (them jumpitty bouncing bombs help too, I’d give the actual name but I have a disk copy of 2ndG and I don’t read enough kanji to tell you the actual name…) also I killed the Black Gravios by just hitting it’s wing, even though the sword was bouncing off I still killed him relatively quickly and barely used any healing items. I can guarantee there’s a better way to kill it but I’m just a weirdo.
Also Mirage Shotel is mighty handy if you use my fucked up strategy, so is death stench or that crazy dragonwood gear.

Dark aka123, try using a bow- daimyo warbow series is pretty good for basarios/gravios. That, or a hammer (if you’re good at avoiding the gas attacks).
Myself, I used hornet armour (high earplug skill, to avoid the roar/beam combo) and daimyo warbow (II?) for my 1st gravios. Longswords are certainly not the solution though, they bounce far too easily against big ugly rocks like gravios.
dont worry guys ive done it now i got hr 4 w/ full death stench s legs and double dragon i got devil slicer aswell!

If your a little good the best stregetie is to use tigrex armor
garuga mask and some earplug jewels that creats higt grade earplug and a bow calld dragonhead harp it takes less than 5 minutes

i dont think melee is good for beginning gravios hunters
bows and bowguns is the best even for a hr6 guy like myzelf
I did the Black Gravios with the great crossbow gun and the imperial gunlance with the esp skill(multiplayer)
I DID THE BLACK GRAVIOS WITH THE WHITE MANTIS AND A LOT OF LG. BARREL BOMB+ and full tigrex
Anyone got some tips for mauling the Bas+ ?
My strat was to place two bombs infront of an explosive rock and laughing when he ran into it. I’ve got Blue Ogre Sword but this strat took 40 minutes of wailing on him. Anything would be appreciated.
Yeah tanji, hammers go a long way on bas+. I generally bring dragon demolisher + tigrex s or death stench s armor. If you take death stench really any weapon will work with varying degrees of success.
When going melee, i suggest using either ESP skill or a weapon with white sharpness (blue sharpness weapons with +1 sharpness) so your weapon doesnt bounce. Also, i recommend using High grade earplugs or a blocking weapon to counter the roar.

War Basher? That’s on here. I don’t think the trees are missing a weapon.
Is there any way to get ESP without having full deathstench? Like jewels?

Awesome trees I use them all the time but I just noticed that to upgrade to the Devil Slicer you need two Kirin Thunder Tails and it doesn’t show that on the tree. I know for a fact that you need them because I’m looking at the “Required Materials” list for the Devil Slicer upgrade right now. Awesome trees though, loads of help.
The paths are for MHF2 where Devil Slicer still rules, in MHFU it indeed needs Thunder Tails.
Is the devil slicer worth making in MHFU?
Sure. It’s still definitely one of the better early LS.
Is it worth it to upgrade fully, or is there another one that i should put time into getting?
the devil slicer rocks the only thing is that in unite u need 2 kirin thundertails and idk about u but iv never been good at kiling kirin.

i found the easiest way to kill kirin (but its kinda lame) is to go in with my dragonwood horn and put on an attack buff and no stamina loss and then after he charges to hit him with the triangle attack and then roll away which you can do a lot since you wont lose stamina but when he stops and just stands there do the triangle+circle attack
What happened to the bow/ light bowgun/ heavy bowgun weapon trees? And also some of those other weapon trees are lacking/missing weapons. I’m grateful that the ones that are up there are up ther and everything, but where did the ranged wepons go? they were ther just last week and now they’re not.
I never had the ranged trees. Also this is not the MHFU section, the MHF2 trees are complete.
is there any sleep element long swords?

I have full tigrex but it sucks and it costs a lot and yeah we need a MHFU weapon tree because i saw some mistakes

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had a weapon path for the Bows and Bow Guns.
There is no bowgun path.
That’s like asking for an armor path.
I would guess that he just wants a list of bowguns and the materials required even though something like that already exists on this site
