How do we play the download quests?
Hi, to play download quests you need to go to Gathering Hall and click on one of the ladies and go to the Event Quest tab on the bottom and select your quest.

You download at the title screen of MHF2, menu download.
To download quests, you need to go to “download” in the main menu before pressing “continue”.
As long as you have an internet connection, you should be able to download bonus quests, challenge quests, and bonus features (titles, piggy’s fashion, etc.).
Tristen Leon Brannon and me beat a lot of mhf2 quest togather and by our selves.
I know about the download in the menu but then what do i do connect with my computer?

Can we use an USB cable to connect???
No. You don’t need to.
All you need is a pre-established internet connection.
When you select DOWNLOAD, it will log you on using an available internet connection.
Since you have access to this forum, I’m assuming you have one.
PSP already has wireless. No USB is necessary.
Wireless help:
- Check whether your connection requires a password (WEP or other)
- Go to your browser on your PSP
- Enter in Google (If it doesn’t ask right away)
- It will ask what connection you want to use. Tell it to Scan.
- Find your connection and tell it if it needs a password or not.
- If necessary, enter a password.
- Hit submit
Now, go to MONSTER HUNTER and when you hit download, select your new connection.

Actually, you do need a wireless internet conenction. You can’t download the quests through USB, I’m afraid. If you don’t have one, you could check a library, or a Borders, or any other place that offers Wi-Fi connectivity for free.

ffs all you have to do to download the quest is main menu “download” then select your internet connection then it comes up with funny music and you know your on ,then you can download a quest.
what can I kill basarios with on elder quest lvl4.cause when ever i hit it,it always makes a little spark.
Bassarios is heavily armored. You need green sharpness and you need to attack it’s belly between the legs.
To make things easier, use an upgraded Daimyo Warbow and use pierce shots.
Where do i play these event quests?
Once downloaded, go to the guild hall and there will be an ‘event quests’ option below urgent quests.

Hey Fresh on the three fatalis quests what are the time limits? full 50 or repel like other elder dragons?
Also can i get a fatalis devil eye from the Crimson Disaster mission if i break his head?
The download quests are full quests and IIRC you can get Devil Eyes from the Crimson one.
my bad i meant the white fatalis mission not the crimson. ive killed the black fatalis and busted his eye, but i need to kill one of the other color variations to make a better dragon GS

WEP is hackable. Use WPA instead.

I don’t know for the Devil Eye.
King Shakalaka can be found in the “Strange Mask” quest. Kill 9 Shakalakas then he will be in the cave area.
Also he’s in the HR6 Chameleos FnH quest.

In the Menu of your game, select download. You need to have a WLAN connection through your PSP.

Yeah, you can download event quests as long as your Wifi switch is on and you’re in range.
It should initiate a search and try to detect the last used server.
If you don’t have a wireless setup with a server, you can make one in the internet application.
I tried to download the quests but it keep saying “Connection error has ocurred.the access point is not detected”
You need to have a WIFI access point (WLAN). The only way a PSP can connect to the internet.
I already tried at a WIFI Hotspot,but I can,t download it!!

The code is given out by the hotspot provider. If you are at home, your parents will have it.
So if the hotspot provider is speedy,do you know the code?

To download quests, you must be in range to use Wi-Fi. If you do not use a wireless router with Wi-Fi, then you can use a Wi-Fi Hotspot which can usually be found in librarys and Starbucks. If they use a WEP or a WPA key (password)then talk to whoever works there. When in range, start up MH but instead of choosing “Continue” choose “Download”. Hope this helps!
