Capcom Europe is running a competition to get your name in the credits of MH Tri by either designing a new weapon for the series or by providing some exotic names for some currently anonymous weapons in the upcoming release!
Head to the Capcom forums for more details and to read the T&C’s: www.capcom-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29611
A new huntress is born
Somewhere BlazerMFT sits in a hospital and can’t wipe a permanent moronic grin from his face. Why is that? Why isn’t he upgrading his equipment in MH3? Why isn’t he helping his peers to HR up there?
WHY IS THAT!
That is why!
Congratulations BlazerMFT. And welcome, little one, in the world of Monsters.

I’ve split my KingShalakala account, so you will only be receiving MH related tweets on that one. You can also follow me on http://twitter.com/PapaFresh if you want more private details about my doings. Don’t blame me though.
Also this blog is going to receive some goodness in the near future. My hands are itching, my thoughts are focusing and the ideas are beginning to shape themselves.
Also, I will point you to this place: MHFU Wiki, where some renowned vets are putting the stuff together.
Random hath spoken!
I have received alot of new entries for the Supporters Page this night. Thanks a bunch. From the first 50 entries (51 to be precise as I’m on it too and I’m not going to win my own prices) a random lucky gal or guy has been chosen by my truthful random number generator (seeded randomly so leave me alone).
The T-Shirt goes to: Number 27, which happens to be Hikari! Congratulations.
Remember: When the number 150 is reached, the next drawing will start. So keep sending and get a FREE chance with no strings attached for a MHFU T-Shirt which will inevitably draw the babes!
Speaking of winning…
Capcom has agreed to give me some goods for my supporters page. Here’s the deal:
Starting with entry number 50 and then every 100 entries there will be a drawing using all entries sent in. One lucky winner gets a T-Shirt and some more stuff. So everybody can win, even those already sent.
There are currently 40 entries online, ten more and the first prize will be drawn.
And the Winner is…
The picture contest is over now. We’ve had 17 entries up for voting and over 400 votes have been cast. Thank you very much in the name of the three lucky winners.
The third place goes to Glimmerspire with his Lao in the Sky:
His prize is a MHFU game, a T-Shirt, game Poster and a Mini Nargacuga figure.
The second place is Vuze and the tortured Felyne:
Also, his prize is a MHFU game, a T-Shirt, game Poster and a Mini Nargacuga figure.
And the undisputed winner is G Shock and his Birdie Encounter:
The first prize consists of the Encyclopedia Gigantica Box with the game, a T-Shirt, a charm, a mini Nargacuga and a game poster.
Congratulation to the lucky winners who will get their Capcom goods soon. And thanks to all who participated, I’m just providing but you guys made it happen. Thumbs up.
The EU PSP Bundle unveiled
Today I got myself a new PSP, and of course it had to be the PSP bundle available in several European countries. Pictures of the box have been shown before, with mixed expectations in the wake. Anyway, I want a new PSP and well, the opportunity couldn’t have been better now.
What you see on the picture is the content of the box. The PSP system is the basic Mystic Sliver 3004, with OFW 5.02, nothing special here. The game on the right is, well, the EU game box with a saddening black/white manual, not the cool full color one the US version seems to have. On the left you see the adhesive skin, which I have applied. See picture below.
The best thing is the pouch, soft cloth in a cool green with the MHFU logo. On the right side is a small charm with a plastic front and microfiber back. I suppose the back can be used for cleaning the PSP.
As you can see the skin looks really colorful and at first I though it is going to hurt my eyes, badly. But when playing the game the colors really match the loading screens and overall color scheme of MHFU. I like it. Also I’ve applied the charm and my old strap from my very first black phat PSP 1000.
Conclusion: It could have been better, in fact both the Japan SE PSP are definitely better, but in the context of Capcom’s marketing I’m satisfied with the little love MHFU has gotten from Sony.
