MHFU
Witness the power of the fully armed Data Section!
A lot of work is being done lately in the MH scene. We have Grahf and assorted helpers polishing the MHFU and MH3 wiki, AdelaineV will do some major updates on minegarde this week and the FAQs on gameFAQs keep coming.
We don’t want to be left behind, so we from RotR are doing our own data project. Unlike the mostly static pages from the wikis and FAQs we strive to create a database of all objects in Monster Hunter, bringing usability and meaningful results to you with the click of a mouse.
Behold the very first MHFU bowgun trees: EDIT: Moved and streamlined. Head here: All MHFU gear
We will continue to add trees, data and more usability to these things in the very near future. Enjoy!
Feedback is very appreciated!

Special thanks to AdelaineV and HotGamerMum for providing much of the input.
This was made possible by the awesome work of Azrael and Draconacticus, who are busy streamlining the data.
MHFU names, table and code by yours truly.
Fresh’s Cheesy Tactic of the Week: Ledging
Well, let’s concentrate on one of the most cheesy tactics ever devised in Monster Hunter. There may be some even more cheesier but this one will really got you hated.

Welcome to the very first edition of Fresh’s Cheesy Tactic of the Week. This is going to be a series of hunting tactics which are not in line with what the elite veterans would tell you.
If you like to clear the game in a purist’s way, or if you are already beyond using cheesy tactics, read on if you want to embarrass yourself. You will read about item abuse, misleading the monster AI, running around instead of attacking head on and using armor skills.
My first take will be on, you guessed it by the title, turtling.

I’ll post this up here for testing purposes.
Have a poke about, and leave any comments/bugfixes here.
Performed weakly.
That’s what she said.

However, outside of Japan, the company noted that Bionic Commando “which was targeted to the overseas markets, underperformed its projected sales,” with 550,000 units sold. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite “also performed weakly” overseas, said Capcom.

Problem solved due to BlazerMFT’s comprehensive Urgent and Unlockable Guide.
Random hath spoken!
I have received alot of new entries for the Supporters Page this night. Thanks a bunch. From the first 50 entries (51 to be precise as I’m on it too and I’m not going to win my own prices) a random lucky gal or guy has been chosen by my truthful random number generator (seeded randomly so leave me alone).
The T-Shirt goes to: Number 27, which happens to be Hikari! Congratulations.
Remember: When the number 150 is reached, the next drawing will start. So keep sending and get a FREE chance with no strings attached for a MHFU T-Shirt which will inevitably draw the babes!
Speaking of winning…
Capcom has agreed to give me some goods for my supporters page. Here’s the deal:
Starting with entry number 50 and then every 100 entries there will be a drawing using all entries sent in. One lucky winner gets a T-Shirt and some more stuff. So everybody can win, even those already sent.
There are currently 40 entries online, ten more and the first prize will be drawn.
MHFU calculator now percentile
I’ve changed the numerical representation of the weapon calculation results for the MHFU calc to percentages. My numbers were never meant to be used for actual hits and stagger calculation, so the percentage is, in my opinion, the correct expression for the results.
The best weapon for your selected rank always has 100%. If you change rank, this will change accordingly.
