MH3: News from the US Chapter and EU too
It’s all over the place already, so forgive me my lazyness for not linking appropriate sources.
Monster Hunter Tri has now a set street release of 20th April in the United States, 23th April for the Europe and Australia. It will be offered in several bundles, incl. Wii Speak and Classic Controller Pro packages. The online fee has been scrapped, playing online will be free.
Also starting on 8th March you can get a demo disc in the US at every GameStop without preordering. Free for pickup.
The US GameStop preorder bonus will be a 500pts Wii card.
The official MH3 page is open now, with lots of cute info and that Ironbeard dude spoiling your day.
Monster Hunter Portable….three? [Rumour]
Well, the cover of the current Hongkong based gameWave says it all. This magazine had some hits on pre-announcing PSP games before (like Persona), but it’s still a rumour and the logo looks faked to me.
Anyhow, good news? Yes, indeed.
Update: Firstly, the logo on that mag was created by bobofango on the wikia as a placeholder. Which makes me lol on gameWaves skills. Secondly, Leo Tan from Capcom Europe has denied any knowledge about a upcoming MHP3.
Make your own Avatar!
Well, not the blue ones but still some astonishing options here.
All made possible by the awesome jQuery library and the even more awesome Inkoseh.
MH3: New Gameplay Trailer
It’ s awesome on the Wii…I mean, I have played some games on the Wii, but this?
MH3: Preview with a nice Interview
Brought to you by Electric Playground. Nothing particularly new, but their interviewer looks much better than I would.
Overweight Hammer? No Prob!
When MH3 hits the shelves we are going to swing the Wiimote like hell. Well, most of us will at least try once before we switch to the Classic Controller (Pro!) for a more laser-like-precision experience.
However, getting to know the weight of your Onslaught or whatever hammer looks heavy in MH3 these gadget might help you.
I’m not sure if they come in different weights. But you really should change your wrist wraps to solid metal chains then.
Europe Players: MH3 Exclusive Invitation
CAPCOM Europe has announced that Nintendo and CAPCOM is going to entertain a press tour through various cities in Europe with MH producers Ryozo Tsujimoto and Kaname Fujioka. The venues are
UK: London, February 1st
France: Paris, February 2nd
Germany: Hamburg, February 3rd
Italy: Milan, February 4th
Spain: Madrid, February 5th
Any interested person can try to get an invitation at this thread, there are still open spots!
As far as I know it will be a 6 hour event each with, well, lots of time to ask questions and probably hands-on playing for MH3. It’s an opportunity to make acquaintance to the inventor of the piggie and the felyne bomber. Ask him about that!
