Author Darksun45230 of gameFAQs had a Walkthrough/FAQ up for some time now, updating its content every once in a while.
Now after what seems an eternity he finally gave up finished that thing.
So if you want to jump into the pinnacle of Monster Hunter once more (pinnacle as in thousands of weapons and armors), grab that PDF file here, print all it’s 424 pages, duplex, and take it as your nightly leisure read until you know ALL of it. Report back here then.

also, im just saying, does anyone plan on makin a brand new Tri one?
I was thinking about it.
Realistically, it wouldn’t nearly be as long as the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Walkthrough considering the game’s length. Which would allow me to focus less on the right weapon and armor and more on the right strategy. Besides, when Monster Hunter Tri G comes out, it wouldn’t be too far of a leap to simply update the data, so long as I finish in a timely manner.
To all those who were expecting a finished version of this guide, I apologize. It has been a fierce couple of years in the life of a Darksun, I’ve sacrificed hours I could spend with my family working on something I believed in. Regardless I have no regrets, and no doubt that whoever reads this guide and understands it’s teachings will clean the upper ranks. Without my help.
I felt it was time to move on, I felt it was time to finish things up. Because I had to constantly return to rewrite certain parts of the guide, the little improvements burned me out.
Anyway, enjoy, hope to produce the same quality work in Monster Hunter Tri!

I’ve come a long way in Monster Hunting. I’ve all but completed all of the 9 star G lvl quests, (I still need help completing the multi-monster hunting quests, but thats about it.) I’v done the Ukanlos quest, Fatalis, Elder Dragons & Rajang quests but I’m not really sure how 2 find people online 2 initiate quests with. Does any1 know of a hub or site that I can visit 2 meet other hunters? please help. I’m especially looking 4wards 2 Monster Hunter Tri so feel free 2 let me know!)
