Author Capcom announced yesterday that they gang up with Nintendo to beat our wallets in April, hoping we have enough money to buy Monster Hunter Tri and a Wii to play it on.
Nintendo will take the marketing, sales and distribution rights in Europe and Australia, Capcom itself will step back and only act as publisher.
Well, Nintendo’s marketing will probably mean we will see some TV ads finally. With some dudes swinging the slash axe with the Wiimote. Good or bad?

This is great, a friend that i hunt with told me he’s buying a Wii. And pre-ordered MH3. I think i’ll also be doing the same. MHFU is starting to look old, and so is the gameplay/physics engine. After watching a few gameplay videos of Tri, and seeing how the monsters move, and the way the hunter moves and reacts to the monsters attacks, I would say realeasing Tri in the America/Europe will really bring the series on a bit.
I look forward to playing MH3 on my Wii soon

i havent played this game but i heard that its not very deep compared to the other games. which im curious about.
Yeah, it’s about 1/5 of MHFU, regarding content.
‘Course, MHFU was an expansion on MHF2, which was a sequel to MHF, which was designed to have lots of new content building on MH2, MHG (?) and MH1. So Unite is like 5-6 games in one to start, if you think about it…
maybe this game will get expansions too… Monster Hunter Tri 2nd G!
I can’t imagine Capcom not wanting to cash in on the sequels…
This game, though mostly new content, got rid of a lot of the good stuff. Like really tore it down. Even the hunt area count is lower, but they are bigger areas. Much of it looks good, but i doubt that it could surpass the psp versions of the series, especially MHFU, with its loads of content.
Now a good idea would be to combine the data of Tri and MHFU to create the super game of Monster Hunting!
Over all, me thinks that Tri is bad.

They are both what he’s called for some reason. I dont know which is Jap and which is english soo…..
