Author: Ok, I keep hearing from mysterious bugs, failing scripts, bad-written code and all that stuff on the tools from RotR. As I’m only one person and I can’t test everything with every browser I need your input, feedback or criticism whenever you encounter a misbehavior.
Please use this post to bring forth your issues regarding the functionality of the Data Section (please specify which part fails for you), Weapon Recommendations and the Adhoc Widget. Also please specify your browser name and version, without that I can’t do much.

The Item Data section won’t work that good for me in terms of searching. For example when I write the word Wyvern I don’t get any results (and there’s enough items with the word wyvern in them).

i dont know if it is fixed but the last time i checked the video tutorials,when u click the rathian and/or(correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure its within both of this monsters)rathalos longsword guide,a hammer guide will come out instead,…
This might be the wrong place, but i have a problem. When I clicked on one of the themes the almost everything disappeared.(all that is left is your blog, comments and a little blue bird above some text+links.) and now I can’t change it back. There are no more theme options anywhere that i can find to fix it.
Try to do a Shift+Reload (hold shift and hit the reload button of your browser).
it didn’t work… is that for PC’s or Mac’s, or does it not matter?
Should not matter. Do you remember which theme you’ve chosen?
Also, if you can clean the browser cache (including cookies from RotR) and try again. I’m sorry but I can’t fix this from here…
the theme i picked was one of the bottom two. if you give me the names of them i might be able to tell you which
I see. The default WP themes have sneaked back in. I’ll remove them, they cause the error.
Ever since the last big change in the data section im always getting this error in the weapons section(strangely enough this doesnt happen when i pick the gunner weapons O_o)

When i click to continue,if i mess with anything, like moving the infopanel, the whole browser freezes up T_T
using xp with firefox version 3.5.6
That’s the expandable trees script which is really messy. I may opt to remove that particular functionality.
Fresh,you could make a htlm version of the database,this would make a lot things easier for a lot of people.
No way. Pure HTML is 1999. If you need clickable HTML go to the MH wiki. Sorry if I sound like a snob, but I’m dead serious here.
When i try and acces the MHFU Data Section it says “Internet explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.reign-of-the-rathalos.com/mhp2g-mhfu/data-section/ Operation Aborted.”

I get this too, but I just ignored it. I think I told you anyway.
For the database gathering thing, do you mean you are going to make maps of where each gathering location is and what you can get from it?
Basically, yes. But it is possible that we never finish this for MHFU…
If you haven’t already started I’ll try to help as much as I can, like, I could go gathering quest after quest and list every single thing I find.
Thanks for the offer, but actually doing quests to get the detailed data won’t be enough. We are getting the precise info from the official japanese info books…
Okay, sorry I couldn’t help.
I attempt to open the Data Section on my XP Professional laptop, using IE7. It gives the failure on the moment of it opening up.
Can you copy/paste the error message?
I can’t copy/paste it for some odd reason, but here’s the closest I can get to mimicing it:
