Hall of Shame removed

The former Hall of Fame, a pet project of mine, has been removed from the page. I’m sorry for all those who tried to use that as a indicator for their own skills or as an incentive to get a better time or better score.

For those who haven’t even noticed it yet: You were able to enter your training school times along with a picture of your guild card and get ranked among the best and fastest players.

While being a great idea (yeah I still believe its a great idea), there were no active control scheme on how to spot cheaters. And cheaters we have in there in abundance. I’m tempted to name those just to give them heat on the internetz and I believe that one must be a total jerk submitting a cheated time and then defending it as legit. Well, people told me that would happen anyway.

So, good riddance some of you may say. I’m looking for ways to bring it back, but until then, it’s gone.

    Tell me who it was!

When I get a proper computer running again, I’d be willing to look over submissions.

Obviously 0:00 isn’t a possible time for any quest, even gathering.

I thought it was good, and it’s ridiculous that someone would do something as childish as lie about their time, it gains them nothing.

There will always be cheaters for as long as there is popularity in being able to play a game well. due to this there will always be people who lack skill or dont want to put effort into a fight therefore cheat personally i dont see a point but there will always be people who ruin it for others
