In the Kushala Daora quest when he's in the jungle at area 3 you can walk up on that ledge and I guess you could bowgun or something. It wouldn't be very fast but you could probably beat it. The only thing that I've found to actually hit me was the attack where he flies up and blows a continuous beam of wind and when that happens you can just block or roll into the other area. (This strategy combines zoning and ledging hooray for cheating!) somebody should try it out just to make sure it works. Unless everyone has already found this an tried it. Diablos/Monoblos have the tailwhip (although, I admit it works well for horn-breaking... but then, so do Flash Bombs), Plesioth is predictable enough for the ledge to be more of a hindurance than an asset, and I've never tried it on Tigrex. I would assume that if you could get him close enough, his upward snow/sand attack would hit the wall, but I don't know if his spin attack would hit you. I’ve never known ledging to be THAT broken. I didn't bring sonic bombs and didn't know where to get frogs from in the desert (MHF2). Since I've discovered that bowing it is so much easier I rarely bother as a blademaster.
