MHFU Weapon Calc

The Kurubekko has appeared

As shown in a ingame video of MH3 (the demo?) one of the new monsters is showcased named Kurubekko.

Additionally Rathian makes a cameo appearance and, well, it takes you away. Also nice: Torch action.

Thanks, Snow_Infernus.

    Ballface FTW!!

  • SilkyZ:

looks really great. i like the idea of the Kurubekko. it can control rathian using it’s horn. maybe its hunting horn can do the same?

  • I just got my copy of MHG this weekend, which comes with the Tri demo.

The demo is great, and honestly, Capcom needs to finish this up and release it.

The controls take a little getting used to, but really the work just great and flow perfectly.

wow this dude sucks as a hunter i could better than that. every hunter knows that you dont fihgt two monsters in the same area. you wait till one of the monsters leaves then you kill it. if you can kill an Akentor in MHF2 then you can kill anything.

I was thinking the same thing, but if the gameplay vids all showed hunters with godly skills newcomers might get frustrated when they try it and get owned.

This is a great example of what I try to tell people who are new, expect to get your butt handed to you on a silver platter the first few times you fight a new monster.

Also, it almost looks like Kuru summoned the Ian. If that’s the case I doubt it would leave the side of it’s “master”.

  • lol:

@ Big O what do you mean “every hunter knows that you dont fihgt two monsters in the same area.” I make a habit of waiting for like rathian and rathalos to be in the same area before I fight them, makes it less work for me but then again I only play mhf and they only take about 20 hits each…

  • The kuru indeed summons Rathian and another monster with his call. That’s a nice touch.

  • Kane82:

I fought it last night, its a tough wyvern to take down. It spits acid and fire, and yes, like Fresh said, it’s special ability is to mimic other monster’s calls, so it can sommon Jaiprey and the Rathian, but it can also (much like hunting horns) play a song and heal itself too. I actually ended up running out of time (you only get 25 mins on the demo) because it healed itself right when it was ready to keel.

Kinda cool, they don’t just “limp” anymore. Kuru here trys to awkwardly fly away but often crashes back to the ground when severely hurt.

I can’t wait for Capcom to relase this game…its just amazing so far.

Plus, even though its technically a step backwards, I love MH G on Wii too, its nice to go back to all the old scenery but of course, there’s the stupid Egg quest in the desert that I have to do now.

  • omg:

This game looks just like MH2.
Levels are still tiny and the monster movements are almost the same.
I thought it would be a bit more epic….
Nothing much did change, I’m disappointed.
