Khezu U. Famed and fabled armor of the hunters of old.

Currently I’m farming Red Khezu, the inflammed version of the gray maggot. I equipped myself with my trusty SWB and a patchwork of armor, which grants me the tracker skill and a sharp sword.

The guild spawned me right behind a king-sized version of these eyeless horrors and I didn’t delay myself by making him aware of my presence. These guys don’t put much of a fight, ceiling crawling and flashing around. They are slow, even if the red version can be a fast hitter when enraged compared to its grey cousin.

Just running around in the freezing cave, waiting for him to turn his ugly mouth around and hitting his knee. They topple over so easily, it’s almost annoying.

Eventually his brother in arms showed up, making me leave this cave and buff up a little. Sharpening my blade and refreshing myself outside the cave I await the first one to fly off.

My tracking skill shows me exactly what they are doing, so as soon as one took flight, I head in back and attract the attention of the remaining one.

Again its tripping and knee mangling until his screams stop short and he falls over. The carves give me the alluring hides I’m looking for and almost happily I chase the other redneck.

He’s sitting in his favorite cave, taking a nap. Bad luck, my son. He too bows to the power of my blade and the kill rewards me with extracts and a nice juicy steak.

Ah, they are so easy and predictable it almost is boring hunting them down. When I have my Khezu U finished, I will not bother with them anymore. The thundering sacs they yield from time to time are of no need to me, since I have already made the weapons for which the smith needs them.
