And we all know that E3 is the place for the gaming companies to present their next years lineup. Pair that with the current uprise of CAPCOM’s twitter, facebook and blog activities regarding Monster Hunter.

I’d wager to say that this is a hint of some updoming release of Monster Hunter beside the iPhone exclusive ripoff.

Speculation on: MHP 3rd for PSP or MH 3rd HD for PS3?

Since June 1 the CAPCOM release of Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting is available in the app store.

Now CAPCOM, port it to Android.

Another newsbit came out just now. CAPCOM Japan is porting MHP3 to the PS3, seemingly without changing anything in the game.

Well, I don’t know if this is good or something since the PS3 has so much more potential than the PSP, but well, shall we complain about everything?

In a surprising move CAPCOM just announced the revival of the Monster Hunter series in Japan with Monster Hunter: Dynamic Hunting.

After PS2, PSP and Wii the game now comes to the only one gaming platform which can be called that, a gaming platform (j/k): The iOS systems.

Enjoy: Health bar. Hitpoints. And bullet-time animations.

I guess some of you guys read my jQuery plugin post the other day. This plugin is to be used and inserted by webadmins. Now what if the admin of your most loved site isn’t able or willing to do so?

No problem anymore. I’ve created a bookmarklet based on that jQuery plugin which does the same for you on every page you are visiting. You only have to select the text you want to translate and hit the bookmarklet.

First of all you need to take the link below and drag it into you shortcut bar or simply add it as a bookmark.

MHP3 Translations

By clicking on that bookmark (or selecting it from the menu) and having some text selected you will get a small popup showing all possible translations for that text. As of now, mostly item names and monsters. Hover over the popup to make it disappear.

And that’s it.

Technical details: The bookmarklet loads an external script from RotR which then queries the database via JSONP and plugs the result into a prepared container. Easy as that.

I’ve updated a bunch of quest data in the MHP3 Data Section, namely lots of HP values and starting areas. G1*-3* is finished, the other quest levels still have lots of gaps to fill. Anyone wanna help? It would seriously speed things up for me

Since I’m able to hold several translations for the data tables I’m providing I’ve decided to entertain any language patch for MHP3.

The goal is to provide a easy to use lookup table for the translated item and the native version, in case one wants to look up information in the internet but does not know the original name. Starting version is to be found under Generated FAQs in the data section.

If you’ve created a localization for MHP3 like TeamHGGs, be it in German, Russian, Spanish or a native Australian one, please send me your translation tables in Excel or ODS format. It should contain the Japanese original, which I use for the matching, and the translation. Also send me a small symbol representing your patch to be used alongside the language flags. Take a look at the data section to see what I mean.
